Rx B12 (4 fl oz)

Vitamin B12 traditionally has been administered parenterally for chronic enteropathies and EPI. It can be challenging for clients to bring their pets in monthly for these injections. Recent studies have found that daily oral administration of cyanocobalamin will just as effectively increase serum cobalamin levels as monthly injections. Rx Vitamins proudly introduces Rx B12, in a highly palatable liquid format for easy and convenient oral administration of cyanocobalamin to your patients. The 120 ml bottle will supply a larger (>50 pounds) patient for a month, and for a patient less than 25 pounds it will last 4 months.

Recommended Usage: Cats and Small Dogs – 1 ml per day Medium Sized Dogs (25-50 lbs) – 2 ml per day Large Sized Dogs (50-100 lbs) – 3 ml per day

Please be sure to discuss with your veterinarian on which products are appropriate for your pet to ensure they are receiving the proper dosing.  Some products, like Vitamin B12, have two formulations with different concentrations, which will impact how much should be given daily.  It's important to order the correct product, and to supplement according to the instructions provided by the lab report in consultation with your vet.  If dosing is not provided by the lab report, then follow the instructions provided by the product manufacturer in consultation with your vet.
